
Seminars We offer Seminars on a range of different subjects. We have a couple of different seminar formats. Our clinics are the hands on approach with both horse and rider where seminars tend to be a larger group of individuals in a lecture or question and answer capacity. We have many breeding seminars which are in a formal setting with a set curriculum, covering specific material. Our informal seminars are generally more like socials where we will have a social commonly in conjunction with a clinic to have question and answer sessions on any number of topics. Breeding Seminars: Breeding Seminars are in lieu of or in addition to hands on work in the breeding barn. Breeding Seminars conducted over a four to six hour period in a classroom style setting are open to 25 -30 people at a cost of $50.00 per person. Depending on the location generally there is a lunch break between sessions.
Weekend Breeding Seminars are held over the weekend with a social Friday night to get acquainted. The program starts on a Saturday morning with a classroom seminar going over all of the previous material as well as all information needed for the next day. Sunday is a hands on at the farm day where everyone is able to get actual live experience collecting stallions, breeding mares and becoming familiar with all of the procedures and breeding equipment. This seminar is limited to 8-10 people and the cost for the weekend on average $250.00 not including board. Informal Seminars: Our informal seminars are generally for one or two specific disciplines and conducted much the same way as daily breeding seminars. Other informal seminars are more socials where we will have question and answer sessions on anything from frozen semen how when where and why to the recent rule changes in the associations and what effect they may have on showing , breeding, etc. These sessions are generally run concurrently with our clinics as a service to our guests in attendance.
